I purchased a cue when I was at the World Championship in Sheffield last year. It was a Star cue, and purchased within the building. I am having a hard time finding screw on extensions. I would prefer the screw on extension over the push on ones. Does anyone know where I can fins these? They look like OMIN threads but mine are wider. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Judging on the lack of a picture and the type of screw thread you may be better off having a more common thread fitted instead. Perhaps an SD joint which will cost between £15-50 to amend depending on who does the work..."I got injected with the passion for snooker" - SQ_FLYER

Attached is the thread on my cue mini but extension. You can see why I thought it was a OMIN, it looks very similar. If I measure the base diameter, tip diameter and the height of the connector,the measurements are;
OMIN My Cue
Base 8mm 9.3mm
Tip 5mm 5.3mm
Height 19mm 22.3mm
My first guess is that it would be my cue has imperial measurements and the OMIN is metric.
As stated earlier, if I could even get the Female OMIN Brass connectors then I would look at having them fitted. Again, the fitting is only for the base of my cue where I fit my extensions.

I fgure it is not a metric thread. However, can you confirm the measurements I have stated?
Is the base diameter 9.3mm, The Tip diameter 5.3mm and the height of the cone from the 22.3mm, because what I see there is what they call OMIN brass Male fitting which are spiralock too. I have purchased two sets of extensions and had to return them, so I want to avoid it this time.
Thanks

The ebay pics confuse me. It looks correct in one (approx 5 threads along the length-correct) and in others it looks incorrect (6 threads along the length), I guess the only way is to get them and return them if they are wrong.
Do you also have the smaller spiralock types? If so, maybe I can compare pics and see.
Thanks for the help.
