There was in the 70 s or 80 s any cue maker that produces 1 piece ash house cues with black plain ebony or black colored rosewood machine spliced butt. No name plate or any name on the cue or the shaft. I am looking for a cue like this. Any helps?

there will be some you can pick up on ebay. i've picked up a couple of BCE branded rosewood 1 piece cues in the past to experiment with oil finishes. by the time I sanded away the lacquer, the printed logo disappeared with it. -
I look every day on ebay with no luck. I talk about black ebony or ebony looking butt. Rosewood is brown. Do you have pics of your cues? regardsComment

I am referring to rosewood actually. ebony is less common as you say. I'm sure cuecraft would be able to do unbadged machined ebony cuesComment

Would be easier if I would know cue makers name because every house cue has a company too where they get produced. Think it is riley or dufferin in the year cues come first with ferrules on topComment
