Noob might have gotten duped

Hi guys. I just started playing and was given some advice to pickup a omin gunman at a dealer here in South Africa. Being the naive and trusting person I am i went ahead and bought the cue as it was in budget and was from a reputable dealer. After getting the cue i suspect i may have been sold a fake. I am unable to post images it seems but I would be able to send it to whoever i can that can help please

What makes you think it is fake?

You can use image sites such as ImgBB and tinypic (and others I am sure) to get the display code which you can then paste into your post.

Remember there are two companies using the Omin name; the first being the Thai man actually called Omin; who then started an arrangement with a Chinese firm to make cues in China; that firm soon realised that the name had not been registered so they promptly did, ... a short summary

I don't see it on their site. Also the butt extension is different to online pictures i have found

Chinese doesn't automatically mean crap by the way, how much did you pay for it?

That's about £105 so by the price it tells you its not the Thai version, and has been said that's one of the Chinese versions by the name on the badge.

It is a Chinese made omin and not same as the Thai Omin
personally if you like it shouldn't matter as long as you play well with it
