Trevor White, that is the point. I love the cue, just tried to do some shots with minibutt on and I could do lot more with backscrew and so on with ease, if with cue only I was struggling to do the same shot. I am aware of the weight and balance of course, but still. That's how I started to fantasize about longer cue.

OK gents, just to summarize -

      1. It IS possible to get longer butt (eventually) from Trevor, though it will not be an easy call
      2. Borrow a 59er and try for longer period of time to have a proof
      3. Try to bend an arm to live with 57 inch.

      Thank you for discussion!

              Options:
              (1) have cue extended.
              (2) buy new cue.
              (3) borrow a cue

              (1) this is always possible, by adding new splices to the butt; but the cue may never be the same as the weight and balance can change.
              (2) buy a new cue of the required length, so saving the old cue to go back to if all else fails
              (3) borrow a cue of the required length and see how you get on, before doing either (1) or (2)
Option 3 is the most logical as it won't cost you anything!

Balance is not a problem if it's don't right, as in taking the weight out and reweighting the cue after.
Which I've done before, so shouldn't change the feel much at all.
                After it's been extended.
