The waiting time for 1pc ultimate's is a real joke, surely if they can do a 3/4 one in 18 months then the obvious thing to do is make the 1 piece cues with a longer butt to cover the less than perfect grain? I'm assuming these shafts all start out the same length and ones with not enough perfect grain for 1 piece get cut for 3/4 use. 17" butt looks a bit old fashioned anyway, a lot of cue makers do around 20" plus for a 1 piece.Last edited by narl; 30 December 2017, 09:48 PM.
