£1500 is a bit much for a maple ultimate imo, maples never weem to well as well as ash unless it's a very low number.

Yeah i think i gave wrong link before, i meant to give this one which shows 3 different expensive cues by the same seller BUT all on different backgrounds which as pointed out is a little strange

Hmm link won't work properly, supposed to be the one where it shows all 3 of his cues, just go to sellers other items then

Just put a basic ash/ebony ultimate through the cue builder, its £1079 delivered. Add an extra hundred if you want mini butt and long extension. Probably minimum 5 year wait as well now.

Seems to be bumping prices up every year, I have a JP special traditional style, even that's gone up by nearly £200 in just over 2 years. It's £825 for exact same design on cue builder now.

At those prices you would look at other high end makers , in terms of price and delivery times .

At least you get to use it straight away, no daft 5 year plus wait.

The waiting time for 1pc ultimate's is a real joke, surely if they can do a 3/4 one in 18 months then the obvious thing to do is make the 1 piece cues with a longer butt to cover the less than perfect grain? I'm assuming these shafts all start out the same length and ones with not enough perfect grain for 1 piece get cut for 3/4 use. 17" butt looks a bit old fashioned anyway, a lot of cue makers do around 20" plus for a 1 piece.
