I am looking to restart my game and I dug out my old power glide only to find it bent.
Looking to start a fresh and am overwhelmed by the choice.
So, a few quick questions if I may?
Are vintage cues, say Burroughs, any good to play with or are they just collectors now?
Looking on eBay, there are 100s of hand made and hand spliced cues now. Are any any good? Omin, TFS, ADR147, etc etc. I’m looking at about £150 to start again with, ideally with a case!
As a fine furniture designer and workshop man, I appreciate good workmanship, and like a nice looking piece of wood, be it, ash and ebony, or the same with a little added burr. I’m not into coloured splices.
Any advice appreciated.
I would have preferred English but, after a quick chat, it seems some of the Thai cues may knock spots off the likes of Peradon?
