Pool Cue Questions

Alright lads, not sure I'm posting this in the right place but I've got 2 simple question.

I'm buying myself a cue, and this seems like a decent option for the money (£50ish is the upper limit because I'm not really competent enough to justify paying anything more than that )

1. Is there any particularly reason I should avoid this cue?

2. It says "pro break", which has made me paranoid that it's some sort of specialised cue specifically for break shots (they exist right?), rather than a general all purpose cue. That isn't the case is it?

cheers mate! reckon it'd be alright? I get the impression from brief research that i'd probably have to almost double the price of that to get something noticeably better (~£90 seems the starting point of more mid-range cues)

a cheap option to get started with and to learn what you are looking for in a cue and what you are not

when you find that, you can move on

Also just to check, presumably you mean English pool?

You definitely wouldn't want that for American pool (but for English pool that sort of cue is probably fine).

I would go find a shop with a pool table so you could try a few cues and get one that feels good for you. Don't worry about potting balls or you will think that when you miss a few shots that the cue is to blame. Get a feel for the weight that feels good.

Most cues are much the same and it is the ferrule and tip that make subtle differences...imo

I play a lot of pool and that will be fine for what your want..
Something to get you started and have a friend that has come back to playing county again and uses a £30 cue from Argos.
Learn to play and how to move the ball around the table, then go from there..

Give this a shot. Chinese but good for the budget.

Can't go far wrong with that and with a case you'll be all set.

Can get the same sort of cues on Amazon with a case from about £57 and think that comes with a snooker extension and mini butt.

I know two people that have had cues from there for about the same money.
Both have been good cues for the money but get your point.
You do know you can trust a cue from him.
