  • Barry Hawkins cue

I understand that Barry has had this cue since he was 14years old, a JP Classic which had 4 olivewood splices added some time ago as well.

Anyway, I saw something yesterday and it caught my eye, and I saw it again today and managed to capture a shot of it.
Do you think as the cue is old it has suffered some damage along the way, or is it some grain-figuring?

    Up the TSF! :snooker:

Looks like a blemish in the grain to me. But without seeing it with my own eyes I couldn’t be sure.

Always catches my eye too over the years. I think its just the grain...

Or, its an old bce signature cue Parris badged up and tried to remove an old Alex Higgins Sig..

If he's had it since the age of 14 then it will be be bashed to pieces. But those knocks give it character and I bet that $20k wouldn't prize it from his hands

It's in the grain Dean, I've made a cue with the same sort of pattern in it, doesn't affect the timber at all.
