To be frank these endorsments are of no good but as far as the cue is concerned it's good value for money as you said u have just begun playing so I think this cue will do the job for u.Peter Ebdon uses a Riley cue which his parents bought for 17.50 pounds.Alan Macmanus also uses a cheap cue.So if u find this cue comfortable to play with it is priceless for u.I myself use a peradon 1 piece cue even when I own mike woolridge cue which cost me around 365 pounds.It just depends on what suits u.GOOD LUCK WITH UR NEW CUE!

well as far as the website is concerned it is a reliable one and recently one of my friend bought a cue from them. He got his cue after 10 days.It all depends on which delivery service they use?
