  • About Exquisite Cue Scotland

    Hi Guys,

Does anyone saw an Exquisite Cue Scotland with black plate with no number on it?
I would like to know what years for the cue.

    Thanks

Raymond Cohen is Exquisite Cues and he has been making them for approx. 6yrs (maybe a bit more?)
He is a member of TSF but has not posted in a while.
He learnt his trade from various places, including a few years with Robert Osborne, London, before starting his own place across the border
He still makes a black plates today so this cue can be from 6 years(?) to 6 days
He is on FB so you could ask him directly
Let us know what you find out
    Up the TSF! :snooker:

I think all his early cues came with a black plate. Couple of guys at my club bought them and still play with them. This badge looks a wee bit different so maybe a newer model. Stick the photo on Raymond's FB page and I'm sure he'll date it for you.

he has different badges, often the circle is in different places (or not there) - not been able to date them though

I'll get a picture of my mates badge for you. It was one of Raymond's first when he was working out of his Mum's garden shed. My mate will be able to date it very accurately.
PS. Not going to reveal the price he paid lol.

Checked his FB page, similar badges are from June 2014.

So, I guess it should be from that date or before it. adr147 can give you more knowledge.

                    Always wanted to have one...
But I think is now overprice due to all going to "AGENT".

I have one green plate here - but yes they are expensive now.

Date from 2012. Raymond's first cues did not come with SD joint or mini butt.

he started in late 2011 by his own TSF-posts
with the badges with the circle on outside, then no circle from 2013 with words swapping places; not sure when the circle in the middle stated but sometime in 2014 looks likely

Yep Dean late 2011 would be about right. Guy from my club went thru to see Raymond in Glasgow in 2012 and selected a couple of cues from his first batch. As in my other post they did not come with SD joints or mini butts. The two lads who bought them still have them.
