no dealings with the cue maker, but (anyone) is he the same Steve Spencer who was an amateur player from the 80s?

Yep. I've known Ste over 20 years. He's a top bloke and a snooker nut. Long before eBay and Facebook he was buying & selling cues using classified adds and the Loot paper. This was a hobby of his rather than a business. He loved acquiring anything unusual, scarce or excellent condition for age. I met up with him about 2 years ago and introduced a friend of mine to him who bought a cue off Ste and was and still is very happy with his purchase.

He has been a cue collector for a long time, must be 25 years since I first dealt with him - the good old days oif cue collecting!
