Hi all,
I'm planning on refinishing an ash snooker cue.
Reason is because you can really feel the grain and I want it silky smooth, more like a maple shaft.
I looked around on the internet, but couldn't really find a good answer how to do it and with what products.
I read about grain fillers, (raw) linseed oil, other kinds of oil,...
I was thinking about Aqua Coat grain filler, looks easy to use. Just put it on a piece of rag and rub it in, then lightly sand the excess away and buff it. Maybe use some special cue oil afterward?
Does anyone here know how to do it?
thx!
