Thanks, I have a split in my cue exactly like pictured, will be trying this out with the gel type glue and hope to get similar results. Looks at have worked perfectly. Cheers

Yes, I have made myself a screw in rubber butt using a mini butt joint, I just added a rubber from a old pool cue to the male mini but screw, adds a bit of weight but is working fine, just put it in pocket when long or short extension is needed. Cheers and thanks again.

that is your climate at work again! - put superglue in the fridge - pour into the gap and leave - sand and refinish.

The gel glue not good for this time, use the simple superglue.
The glue should flow through the gap.
