Thats a lovely job you have done Mr Khan you can hardly see it. I'm amazed the glue 'pulls' the wood together, I would never have known that, the clamps would have come out, ADR certainly knows his stuff.

What a great piece of help by adr, I just refinished the cue. It looks new. Thanks a lot mate. It looks like magic, after oiling, the crack is invisible.

Please let me know where I could find a screw in cap to avoid this in future. I think it is an sd joint like JP uses.

I have a push on cap but it makes the butt feel thicker.

Thanks a lot. How do you find it after use?

Would not have been possible without your idea, the adr metal file and some sand paper helped me do it.

I won't lie, it's in a cue I ended up not using much. It's pretty light, and didn't come loose at all, so fit for purpose. It stopped the butt of the cue soaking in lager from the gross carpet around the table, which was the reason for buying.

Thanks for the superglue in the fridge tip. I've used it to fill dings before, but not been successful with a couple of cues with a split under the badge. I'll be trying this with it cold this time.

Thanks, I have a split in my cue exactly like pictured, will be trying this out with the gel type glue and hope to get similar results. Looks at have worked perfectly. Cheers
I try hard, play hard and dont always succeed, at first.!!!!:snooker:
