I think this is the reason, he says you can send a cue to him for work but he wont send it back.

Rule applies to him selling cues as well. Won't post out. A few years ago I was "pleading" with him to sell me a cue and post it to me in Scotland. Said NO and would't budge! Guess he can't be bothered with all the hassle of cues going astray etc etc. He's quite happy to sell a cue to someone who calls in person to his workshop.
