Does anyone know of a shop where I can try and buy a good quality snooker cue in or around the South London (Croydon) or London area. I'd prefer not to buy online but try first.
Burning 51 candles I would have thought by now you'd know what spec suits you so buying without trying aint that important surely or are you new to the game?

Regardless of whether you are new to the game or fairly experienced, it is always the best option to try before you buy. You can make a cue exactly to spec and find you don't like it, for whatever reason. Wood being natural you could make up 5 cues or more, all to near enough the same spec and each one would play differently.
