Stick it in the greenhouse to support tomato plants, and move on.

Difficulty here is centering the drill, very hard. Good reasons why this is done on a lathe

yes without a lathe this would be very difficult to say the least. i would recommend finding your nearest cue doctor and having it repaired. £30-£40 is what you would pay in most places but it may be cheaper where you live. best to find out.

              Thanks for the advice guys.

              The conclusion I've reached is:

As well as I've been potting with this cue, I've decided to get a new one.
Trawled the net and one shouted out at me from craftmanscue store on ebay.

Ordered on morning and got it delivered the next. Excellent !!

A nice 17oz machine spliced, 3-piece redwood/ash cue as sported by Mark williams.

Urgently needed a cue for my league games, and just to prove how nice it was, I got called to play for both our Div 4 and Div 5 team on the same night.

With all the rushing around I won all 4 frames with a 27 break to boot. Not bad with a new cue and not having a chance to practice with it yet ! !

This is the first cue I've had with an Elk tip on. I'm not sure I'll go back to Blue Diamond.

              Cheers
