It has been said no end of times that no two cues even of exactly the same spec play the same. Most who state such say it's difficult to put into words but it's down mainly to the fact that even with a shaft of almost identical age and grain it's akin to identical twins, somewhere within there are differences albeit not visible to the eye.
How though do you recognise a difference and determin which is a better playing cue. Do you play a certain shot with each as they do when measuring throw with robots in America? or is there some other way as no doubt some can repeatedly identify one twin cue from another blindfold.
