This particular cue will be like any other cue, it won't 'play' like any identifiable 'model'.

The Traditional cue is just a design of the manufacturer, so it won't guarantee that the cue will play like any or all other Traditional cues ever made by John parris. The opinions of someone else who owns one of these particular cues means nothing for you personally, as every cue can be SO variable.

You may very likely find that six Parris Traditional cues will all be very different and have little in common as playable cues, while another Parris cue of a completely different model (yes, even a jointed one) might be almost indistinguishable from one of the traditional cues you tried.

They are just cues built to the same design, not the same specs or characteristics.

The only way you would get a cue to play better and feel better and have more power would be to have a cue built to your specification, i would suggest going to a local cue store/maker and testing out different cues and picking what is right for you.

Then you can have the traditional splice put into it then you will ave the cue of your dreams.....

that's the best way to do it

some ppl would even have the luxury ordering 2 or 3 cues of the same specs and picking one to play with eventually (dunno what they do with the others tho sell'em probably) coz like most ppl agree, even 2 cues with identical specs can play slightly different!!!
