how would it be possible to spot a fake cue? i would imagine tony ions replicates everything including the weight stamp. is it just a case of if it looks too good to be true it probably is?

I've seen a Tony Ions replica at Craftsman Cues that looks exactly like this one.
think i saw this one too, did it have an stripey eboney butt?
dave said he had to repair it

ADR, i won the cue, cant believe it reached that but just seeing what tonys replica cues play like.
i have played with an orginal cannon match cue, but the cue was a little whippy and the butt was very thick so i sold it on.

hope tonys is stiff and thin butt

yes its stiffer than an original but then that would not be hard!

4 cues for sale in that condition?? - maybe only one in 10 mannocks still has a readable badge, why is the tulip still so bright, not one mark on any of the 4 cues, a 136 2501 JD cue is a pretty uncommon beast, my money is on that at least 3 of them are copies!

Burwat and Davis cue are on ebay, mannock cue is not for sale, already asked

Ive seen a few mannocks that good, (gordon radford ah a one that good) they look real enough, maybe just higly cleaned and polished, i had a mannock which i sent to craftsman to be cleaned and the tulipwood looked that good, but you never know these days, this is the problem with the replicas being made...........
