I saw a Sherwood cue today at my club for £150 and liked it mainly because of its nicely tapered 10mm tip. I need to upgrade and am on the look-out. Is Sherwood a good brand? Worth the money?

i suspect the answer will be yes - they are much better now than they were but £150 buys a good cue!

Its the second from last one. Exactly the same and at a nice price too. I'll probably go for something else than that specific cue because it doesn't have a screw in the butt for an extension. I couldn't tell that from the display cabinet. I've been told by my Rileys manager I can buy a cue from them at cost price (about 50% off list price) so I'll have a browse through their catalogues.

That's with a telescopic extension. Nice looking cue I think, nearly bought one off ebay a while back but had a trembling finger when it came to hitting the confirm button and backed off.
Actually there's a nicer one on ebay at the mo Cue craft's TR2..

I'm pretty sure Riley no longer make cues, not in the uk anyways theres a Co in china called Riley wether they make them under licence or something I dunno but i've yet to see a new Riley cue i'd give a tenner for.

Cant believe that TR2 cue went for a mere £50.
