lol - property prices south of the border are so silly now that its actually no longer funny. national average house price is just over £200k thats a very nice house up here!

In this area we have the high property prices together with low wages.

[QUOTE=ADR147]ok - i will add my 2 pence worth! - firstly i think there is an issue with language, the term wood filler gives very much the wrong impression of the process and that is maybe why people don't say they use it but yes most cues will have some sort of filling to stabilise the grain. (the australian andy bream uses ebony dust as mentioned somewhere else in this thread he calls it back filling i think.)

no i said zak from zaks custom cues

how i want my cue made

having recently purchased a very good cuemakers time and knowledge to make me a cue here are a few of his secrets :-
firstly he gets a tribe of small welsh pygmies to personally chop the tree and choose the shaft (short legs so no bending closer eyes to inspect the grain all bonuses)
he then does a bit of work on the shafts and rolls the shafts between the thighs of a hirsute brunette virgin (this is a two fold bonus giving the dark colour to the shaft and the girls get a free waxing)
he then trains trees to inter twine branches: ebony, snakewood, whatever to order he has a team of ex circus lion tamers who are really strict with the trees and when he needs a butt they just produce it naturally.
obviously i cant tell you all or you would all want one and my cue would never get built.

at least thats what he told me honestly guv and thats why i paid millions of pounds for the cue.

[QUOTE=trevs1]I think I could catagorically say that any mark on you was not from any dye.

Nope. Not when it's black and the cue's brand new.

                    I say that categorically.
