Glossy Shine

I was watching ronnie play his match yesterday and noticed his cue has a clean glossy shine to it, especially the ebony.

Whats the best thing to do to make the ebony have a shiney smooth glossy finish?

Also the shaft had a deep glossy finish, how is this best achieved?

Exactly right, after using an ebony butt for several months, genuine ebony butts get glossy. This is contributed by the grease/sweat/dead body cells etc accumulating on the butt. it improves the grip for me though.

partly i expect its the lighting.

Ive looked at other players cues when on tv and none are as glossy as his, ive spoke to trevor about it and he said its just been very well finished by JP.

Looking forward to getting my new cue next week i will post a few pics when i get it.
