  • Loose joint for my 3/4 Parris

    Hi all,

I have my Parris Classic cue for 2 years now, recently the joint for my 3/4 cue (the part in the butt side) has became loose. Can anyone suggest how i can unscrew it out, (its dead tight, i could see a tiny gap between wood and joint), or how i can tight it up again, need any glues? Is sending back the only option? I want to fix it myself to avoid all the hassles.

    Thanks, hope you can help.

If I was you mate I would send it back to John Parris, or another decent cue maker to have it sorted out properly. You will probably mess the repair if you do it yourself.

SoC gives the best advice. its not a difficult fic, if you attempt it with care and get hints off of folk who know what theyre doing, but its easier to mess it up, and so SoC gives the best advice, even if its more hassle for you

Send it back to JP, he doesn't charge for repairs to his own cues unless you have damaged it yourself through miscare. Sadly his joints are known to come loose so he is used to getting them sent back!
