    hi all

got an old parris cue from a friend recently, very nice ash shaft.
pity its 57 inch long, am used to 58.

was gonna go down to parris to see what he could do to increase to 58, when the mrs said she would pay for it xmas prescent or if i find one down there get me a new 1

comming from her thought was a wind up
but turned out to be serious, has john got a table instore to try cues out on?
does he run the store anymore?

        cheers adr

was thinking bout that, just the fact that this cue is one of the better parris cues and worried that they have gone down in quality since

I have found the quality of Parris cues variable, from fantastic to very middling!
I don't think John makes too many himself anymore.
Parris' sell very well, if you can wait I'd get one made to spec from one of the other top cue makers with the cash.
I've got a Trevor White myself!
If you want to try a ready made cue it depends where you live. Osborne and Parris are both in London but with London prices, Craftsman in Leeds will do trade ins and sell both new cues and second hand, Green Baize in Stockton upon Tees has a good range.
              Where do you live?

i do go down to craftsman quite regually but ant found out i like yet , and buying something to fit ya specs is a little risky if ya cant get used to it

as ive tried that before, the misses is at end of tether lol
so many cues! so shes gettting me one more but rest gotta go

I personally had no problems with my ordered cue and I’m very glad I did order it I love it.
I think if your very exact your ok!

I went on a few trips to Craftsman myself before buying mine and you never know what’s going to be in do you.
My mate got a nice one from there though.
