with all oils, wipe off the excess completely. then leave overnight, preferably.

give it a good buff up next day. it won't be sticky if you do this.

Ah c'mon Mike tell em the truth...
You prefer baby oil, you can only buff it for 2 mins after which you cant play any longer your shaft loses all it's stiffness, and you couldnt care less if it's sticky in the morning as she's had a shower and moved on to her next customer long before then.

Raw linseed oil can be brought at Wilkinsons for about 2 quid for a big bottle.
Personally I use Mike Wollies cue oil, not sure if its any better but it smells like it should be.
