  • Cues in Scotland

Just recently joined this forum, and looking for a new cue. Anyone know a decent shop/outlet in the Glasgow/Edinburgh area where I could see the cues as opposed to just ordering them online? I tried the shop in Pollokshaw Rd (Glasgow), but they just had a few Peradon cues and I'd like to see a bigger range.

I've only been playing for 18months and currently have a BCE Heritage 2 piece, but have improved to the stage where I'm playing in local tournaments and would like to buy a decent 3/4 cue that is hopefully going to feel a lot better, and I know is going to do me for a long time.

Open to the possibility of buying second hand, and I would also like to have a look at some maple cues (seeing the grain sometimes bothers me).

No definite budget in mind. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Its not how well you play its how good you look playing that counts!

        yip, great idea IMHO.

ADR doesnt force himself on these forums, and takes time to join in many other discussions other than cues and the like.

on the face of it appears to be very honest and have a good name with other cue sellers/makers, so its a possible you could get an arrangement with him.

local snooker clubs sometimes have cues for sale, and most would let you try out on the table (even if you werent a fully fledged member of the club)
