Cue brands among the top 16?

Mathew's cue is defo a hunt& o'byrne. the last time i saw it, Robert Osborne had fixed it(he is a bit like jimmy white in that he always uses fine sand paper to shine his ferrule and needs a new one frequently).
I think Mark William's cue is the same cue with the butt re-spliced. it used to be machine spliced but is now hand spliced. might have been split?
Ronnies is defo an ultimate.

neils cue was i believe stolen and the cue he uses now was his fathers parris classic and as oldgit pointed out it was too short so peter hanley spliced four splices on the end to lengthen it.

Mcguires uses John Parris

I am not a fan of Parris cues but just for your info; i just saw on its website that both O Sullivan and Mcguire used Parris cues in UK 2007 final.

I am not a fan of parris cues as i am not happy with their joints. it became lose after a year of play, wood ebony was expanded and they never reply my emails, so not great service.

In John parris site there is a banner saying
" Congratulations to Ronnie O'Sullivan and Stephen Maguire both using Parris Cues in the final of the 2007 UK Championship"

So Maguire is currently using a Parris cue..
