  • Broken cue

i had a starter cue and the bit under the tip i think its called a ferrule has broken. it was made out of plastic and has several cracks on it.

should i buy a new cue or should i replace the ferrule?
    which would be easier?
    thanks for any help.

pop into craftsman cues in kippax - 51 highstreet kippax leeds ls257ah - they will be able to help you and they are very reasonably priced.

You might even have those screw on ferrule/tips on your cue, why dont you check that out first. You can just buy a pack of screw on ferrules if that being the case.

Craftsman as Ady said, they should only charge you about £10-12

              Thank you for your help
But the cue itself is not worth much and i don't think there is any value getting it done by a craftsman.

i have managed to remove the old ferrule by heating it and twisting it off with some pliers.

how do i know what type of ferrules to buy or will any do.

              thanks.

Im sure craftsman would re-ferrule that cue for less than a fiver, and they will do a top job.......

this is not a job you should attempt yourself if you have never done it before.
