I asked Trevor for the light coloured ash shaft, I am delighted with its looks on the finished cue.
Can't wait to see it close up and finally hold it. And can't wait for my 1st frame with it!
Don't know really if it's and old piece of ash or a new one, I will surely ask him and let you know..
However it is a new shaft, the cue is made as one piece then jointed above splices.

Why so long, is it because you had the cue amended from a one piece to 3/4 joint? Looks very nice though.

Thanks, actually I'm quite pleased with the waiting time I had, considering the workload he's under.
