          how do you get keep the butt of the cue shiney to make it look well finished all the time, ronnies butt is very shiney, best ive seen

                mike do you want to buy an acuerate 147 cue in maple. they are great quality arn't they trevor? i just got one as a trade in today! you could learn a lot from one of these! or maybe your runner beans need something to grow up!

                    Just invest in some Briwax or some other similar finishing wax. Add a tiny bit to a cloth rub it into the butt and buff it for about 5 minutes until the butt becomes shiny. It will wear off after time but that will do the trick.

                      sorry craig i forgot that one.

                      it is easy enough to get a butt to shine using wax but my experience with wax is that it tends to create some level of stickiness. and wears off as cueman says.

                      but if it feels ok to you then it's no hardship giving it a wax up occasionally to keep it as shiny as you like.

                      the best shine imo comes from years of applying oil. the shine becomes deep and natural.
