Did I really just read you'll pay upwards of ten grand?
Check out Pete 147s cue collection. Many fine cues on there.
I'm new to snooker so I really have no idea what a top end cue should/would cost. I've left an enquiry about 2 cues in Peter 147s collections, but again, don't really know what I'm looking at. Hopefully someone could say "x is the best, or y is crap". And this is how much you should spend.
Thanks in advance guys

No such thing as the best thing.
A cue has specs such as weight, length, tip size, butt size and balance point.
If you could get these from your dads current cue, then aim to get something the same give or a take a little margin.
Thanks for that Jaffa, I've taken a look at his cue and what I got was: Weight 17.512oz, Length 57.016", Tip Size 9.437mm, Balance point 16.034". Have no idea by what you mean by butt size though. The diameter of the butt is 29.017mm.
I hope that is enough info for someone to point me in the right direction.
Thanks again
