dont use sand paper on your cue or ferrule just use some fine grade wire wool thats all you need sandpaper will slowly destroy your cue

NO DON'T USE SANDPAPER. This bloke at my snooker club used sandpaper on somebodies cue once and it was completely destroyed and the grain was exposed.

i find that 1600 grit wet & dry sand paper is better that wire wool .

yes probably if you use it alot but wire wool will to. 1600 grit wet & dry give a far better finish though or get some 2000 grit .

Like ADR said it depends on how much you use it really and whether or not your careful using it.

wire wool will take more of your shaft than 2000 grit wet n dry give it a try and see you can rub the cue for a while with 2000 before it starts taking wood off if it can finish a cars paint job like glass it wont scatch your cue.

they have a page with contacts on thats about it. it has mobile no and the shop phone no.

Im very happy with the cue, the cue action is getting better and better, got a few 40's in. and when you say about the sandpaper taking the shaft away, I mean..Im using it for ferrule, I think ill just buy the 1600 tomorrow.
