i bought a second hand northwest cue, i believe it had been repaired
before i had it,
after a few weeks, the wood strated to develop cracks in the butt.
i'm told this is common for snakewood, is this true.

Perhaps this is the reason why I see the majority of the 6-red Sangsom World Cup players, now on playing in Bangkok, use plain black ebody butt, of if with splices to a very thin and minimal pieces
