custom pool cue makers in the uk

are there any? need someone who has experience with pool cue joints. i need joints replaced and have got a shaft that needs some turning done but cant seem to fine any locally... anyone? :S im able to provide all the materials etc

failing that a local engineer should be able to do it but i am pretty sure john has the tools required.

I have spoken with the OP above, and, have already said that I do not have the type of joint he requires. I would be willing to use one if it was provided, but, whether he can get one to suit I don't know.

The making of a collar is easy enough, I can do that, it's the joint pin which causes an issue.

yeah basically its making the wood to wood radial threaded joint that seems to be the biggest obstacle... right now it looks like im shipping to the us. not too bad really, just a lot of variables :S

Ps. I'd like to say that Trevor White by far is the most thorough and helpful cuemaker i have ever dealt with =)

Theres a company up here called Geordie Pool, they might do it for you.

They don't do any work on cues.
They are just an importer of Chinesse painted cues.
