I have the same feeling with maple, I feel a more solid hit
But my current cue (that I love) is ash - go figure?
what are the other two cues?
the high badge cue?

Funny how Snooker works, my first cue years ago was a riley maple then i moved onto ash, recently bought this cue and it seems that maple is more suited for me. Seems to make me focus on the shot with a clear maple shaft than a shaft with arrows on it, only problem is getting a clear maple shaft is probably easily as awkward as getting an ash shaft with "x amount of arrows" on it.
Never a fan of multispliced cues either but seeing as this mannock design is over 100 years old its grown on me.
So the glover is staying and the other 2 are going, currently on ebay.Last edited by narl; 3 March 2020, 11:33 PM.

Ordered in myself a new cue for the new year. Had a chance to play it in tonight with some snooker (and pool - on the same snooker table), and I've got to say, I'm loving it so far. Got a personalised nameplate, as well as a case, a butt extension and a telescopic extension.

Never seen that many chevrons on an ash cue before narl. Very nice.
