    If it is dodgy you would've thought if someone was faking a Dave Coutts cue they would of done it doing it to one of his handmade ones not one of those ones that he finish off.

    Question- the pic showing the butt end shows the small square of the ash shaft. Does this mean it was not drilled to add weight? Was weight not added or was it added under the splicing?

    Latest cue arrived yesterday, nice Walter Donaldson in ash, with lovely badge.

    Length = 58"
    Balance = 18.5" !
    Tip = 10.9mm ( no ferrule )
    Butt = 30.8mm
    Weight = 16.25oz ( stamped 17oz )

    I did round them up slightly, incl tips they are 58", 58 1/4", 58 1/8", & 57 7/8" lol
    Impulse buys are hard to resist ehh

    Nice set John, don't look to be all 58" though.

    I can put them on my co-ordinate measuring machine, if you want a more accurate measure ?

    I'm building up to a similar 2 modern, 2 old cues. Until ebay prompts an impulse buy, of course. .
