I wouldnt be the best judge of cues to be honest Ramon as im a pretty poor player,feels like solid hitter with a stiff shaft.Jointed at 14" with a balance point at 17".Not seen or being able to get any info on Utopia cues,glad to hear youve heard good reviews tho
Me too !!!! As I heard, they are a small family, who makes about 25 cues each year.
I know of two players who have experience with these cues.... Are great players, they said. I think the most important thing is that the cue suits your game. Great looking cue!! thx for rplay and enjoy your game.

split by the splicing or ebony grain split ?

Looks like a grain split but across. Just lifting up near the splice end.
I shall await JP response before posting pics or saying anything else. As you say I hope they fix it quickly and well.
Seems the ebony is slightly split/come apart. If I use a towel on it then its going to catch and break off for sure. Hopefully they will be quick to respond and fix it.
