    • Keith, excellent looking cues. I realize they are not all yours but if you ever want to trade me for some memorabilia let me know.

      • All look stunning... My fave is a tie between the bottom one and the one fifth from the bottom

            • no 1 is one of the most beautiful cues i have seen.

Although it will not look better than my TW cue when finished, i'm sure

              • This is my cue. Not a work of art like the some of the above, but plays pretty good, even if I don’t.

is the cue(connosier) in pic no.2 the same cue which is in pic no.1 and 3 , because the pic no.2 does not have an s.d. joint in the butt whereas pic 1 and 3 have an s.d. joint?

                    • Cues 1, 2 and 3 are all different cues! No. 1 is a Trevor White cocobolo over maple veneers over ebony at 18" long splicing. No. 2 is a Trev butt on Kevin Muncaster shaft: curupay over maple over ebony at 18" long splicing. No. 3 is a Trev cocobolo over maple over ebony at 22" long splicing. No. 1 is now jointed above the splices to add a little more weight and bring the b.p. a little further forward. The second cue in photo no. 2 is also a Trev cue: kingwood splice over maple veneer on ebony butt, low butt-jointed at 9" for playing in cramped spaces.

It looks nice, Mike. It's a Parris Ultimate, no? With different woods in the splicings? What are they? I can't really tell from the photos.

No. 1 has the best cocobolo I've ever seen, and it's beautifully set off by the maple and ebony. Your cue will have to be quite something to beat that one! What splicing have you ordered, by the way?

                              Hi Asi,

The Coutts cue has Thuya burr and green veneers over ebony. :snooker:

There is a massive different between yours and the one I posted, in terms of the Thuya burr shade I mean. the TW is much darker. What is more common with this timber?

How do you like the 2 i posted btw?
