Trying to forget about it to be honest, the whole ordering process hasn't been a good one from my point of view, still **** happens, just always seems to happen to me more than others!

My playing cue, made by David Hart circa 1985
62 inches long
20 oz's
Ash shaft, ebony butt with splices of maple and walnut.
Was a one peice but had it 3/4 split by A & D Billiards of Coventry about five years ago
Had a mini butt fitted by Andy Travis around the same time.
No grain filler used, shaft was unfinished when I first received it but over time and polishing once a year with Betterware Antique Furniture Polish, the timber has coloured to a light brown and the grain has naturally filled over time. Feels smooth along the bridge but you can feel the ridges of the grain when turned in your hand, dead straight grain in the still dead straight ash shaft and perfectly balanced at the tip of the splices.

Wouldnt say they were much different to other cues apart from slightly thicker as in the old style of making them.I've had to thin a couple of them down to suit. You just know you are getting a quality cue that will play well.
