May I know what's the major difference between ash and maple shafts? I all along prefer a no grain type of shaft but as there's nobody I know who owns a Maple shaft cue, there's no way I could test it.

People say it hits more powerful and also able to generate more spin than ash. I'm not really that much of a spin user though. Hopefully someone is able to enlighten me on this.
