Very true. Plain butts also look better in my opinion.

Btw, was the Wenge nice and easy to work with ?

      It wasnt too great.
The grain ripped out quite easily so had to get round that.
Also I had a dust mask on the whole time of using it and took a fair bit of care with the dust and with splinters.

Wont be doing another one, but nice to have done one and the end result is cracking.

            • audiandy, once you have over 10 posts more functions, like adding attachments, will be available.
Or you can always use photobucket or such like.

              • thanks Dean, i thought i had read something a bit ago, and i have been looking at some threads today after i couldnt put pics up.
I have posted who made the great cue and who made the case.
The cue was a MIKE WOOLDRIDGE Olive Shark and the case was made by SNOOKER WARRIOR a member of this forum (Graham).
Both of them have made a great product and would recomend to any one. Infact i had a member of the team ask for Grahams number a he would like a case made just like mine to carry two cues plus all extensions with space for chalk, towel ect.

                • Hi audiandy, oops I read it wrong
I read that you had a MW and another "cue" made by someone else
I also have a custom case by Graham (snooker warrior) for my short 3/4 pool cue, it is a lovely case (you can see it on the "post pictures of your case" thread).

That is very unusual Graham was spot on for answering both texts and e-mails and quick on here as well. I know he has a lot of orders come in and also has a full time job. I felt very lucky as i must have caught him at the right time as my case was completed and delivered in less than two weeks, infact less than a week after he finished the case before mine, what a guy. I'm sure will do very well. All the best Graham for the future.....
