yep Raymo has mentioned before that he has worked with Robert Osborne, but you say "main man" - I thought Raymo was a one man band?

Pick it up on Wednesday, I will post pics then.

I picked one tonight and he is making the but thinner for me taking it down to 28mm from 29.2mm.

I picked a plain ebony butt as i am not a fan of splices and all that jazz but could have ogled them all night. Here are some of his cues but mine isn't there. http://i861.photobucket.com/albums/a...loads/1-14.jpg

I'm just back from picking my 'Exquisite Cue', and all I can say is the top 16 better beware of TheBallBreaker in next seasons Scottish amateurs!!! 20 breaks for fun!!

Seriously though the main man behind Exquisite cues, Raymo, was taught by Osbourne and his cues are stunning. They're just like a Parris or Osbourne and are a fraction of the cost.

Anthony McGill (50 in the world) is also using one of these now, so watch this space.

Specs: almighty 59", 11mm horn ferrule, stamped 18 1/2 oz, (but weighs 17 1/2), slim 27.5 butt, 16" balance point, 24" machine spliced ebony, 19" hand spliced tulip (?), 9 1/2" front splice, has a number 9 (or 6?) stamped on butt, has Burroughes & Watts, London stamped below the mother of pearl badge.

The face splice looks similar to mine, which I've always thought was mahogany. I *THINK* I remember reading yew was also used for a face splice occasionally as well, but not sure, so it may be that instead.
