      well I just checked some sites (not wiki) and snakewood can be nearly as dense as ebony. But will probably still have a small amount of additional weight.

              Good question for someone like Mike Wooldridge or Andy Travis or other cue makers.
              I've heard that olive wood is heavier than ebony. Not sure obout it!

                          Yeah all decent enough, but as usual the Cannon probably the best player
                          Cannon: 58", 10.9, 17 oz, 16 1/4" bp
                          Newman: 57 3/4", 11, 16.3 oz, 16" bp (was bent, now straight )
                          Falkiner: 58", 11.1 (un-ferruled), 15.8 oz,17 1/2" bp, havn't seen one like this before
