That's how Roberts finishes his cues with special mix of oils leaving a natural feel and finish......definitely not unfinished lol.
Had my Parris Superior refinished at Roberts before Xmas as don't like Johns finish on a cue and if you close your eyes and feel cue/shaft you'd think the ash is maple!
Yes, he's a big Arsenal fan as Neil and others have said. Last time I popped in at 5pm I didn't leave till well after 7pm rabbiting football as I'm a massive Liverpool fan.VR Ultimate Limited Edition 1 Piece Ash Cue - 58” | 9mm | 18.9oz | 29.5mm | 18”.

Cue is excellent, I was with desso when he bought it. Robert had 3 red plates and 1 green plate for sale when we visited!!! Quite a few part made as well.
Nice guy, tried begging, onion angle starving kids in africa angle, nothing would make him take my order. Even a large wedge of cash for a blackplate. He did offer me a black eye tho.
His workshop is awesome, doesnt take orders as people kept mucking him around. Such a shame, he said he can make whatever specs and style of cues he likes, send it abroad and no cues ever come back to him from fussy customers.

Decision on which cue to keep............ Help
Cue 1 - One piece Trevor White, birdseye maple splicing, 58.25 inches - 9.5mm tip - 17.3oz
Cue 2 - One piece Trevor White, fully spliced with snakewood - 58.5 inches - 9.5mm tip - 18.85 oz
Both cues are magnificent, splicing and the ash. The snakewod cue is a more solid hit which you expect with a heavier cue. The birdseye maple cue is nice for stroke shots in the balls and break building. I would ideally want to keep both cues. but can't get away with it (divorce). The ash shafts on both cues are what you would expect from Trevor Whites work.
Let me know your thoughts once you've viewed the pictures.
