I'm really pleased to own it. It's a beautiful cue. If it plays as well as the others it will be at least one of my top four cues, and I have around fifteen, including a parris. The one piece Butters cues I have feel solid, are good strikers, and look great. I personally think they are underrated. They're the best value cues I have bought. They need a bit of finishing, but they also come at a length, diameter, and balance that leaves a bit of scope to modify to suit most players. They really are fabulous things.

My current pool cue...just got it back from Andy Travis after having alterations done..it originally was just a plain round Ebony butt Jim Black Cue...it now has 4 splices of Olivewood with a Ebony front splice...The shaft has 16 arrows all inline with a great natural dark patina to it, one of the best shafts I have ever seen and plays like a dream.
Specs now are 58", 8.94mm, 30mm, 18.3oz

Like the look of a laminated cue , the chevrons look great .
For some reason , i am not so keen on red [ or blue ] veneers on cues.Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !
