I like plain ebony butts, but decided to 'risk' something and go for additional splicings...

It's birdseye maple, which according to Mike looks much better in real life than on his digi cam picture... - we'll see

then, black-white-black veneers...

=] this is only a few pics, im makin another thread with more photos, and im going to write a review of the cue in time.

Its an Uncle Thai cue, with no badge.

woods used: Ash shaft, Maple veneers on Ebony Butt and ebony splicing. Maple face splice.

specs: 57.5 inches in length, 16.5 ounces in weight, 9.2mm tip, 3/4 cut at 14" from the butt, balanced at 17inches, 28mm butt diameter, and currently sporting a Uncle Thai modified Elk master. Ordered Through Unclevit.

Splendid looking cue

Only thing not perfect about a UT cue is the arrows are not necessarily the best looking.

ebony on the butt look so rich black and shaft looks very cool m8 . is it "feels" as it looks Poolqjunkie???

The shaft has just the right amount of spring for my game, everything is exactly as I like it.

Mind you I do have the slight advantage of being able to make the cue anyway I like, pick the shaft I want...etc

I am probably a bit biased as well.

UT cue become popular in TSF lately. I am also one of his customer . Nice looking cue mate. Many high breaks ahead...cheers....
