Plays beautifully to be honest, cue is capable of far far more than I ever will be. Any of my errors and misses will always be me, never the cue.

                    • I don't know much about ash shafts, not even maple to be honest, but i'm curious what makes this especially stunning? In other words, what to look for on an ash or maple shaft?

Just personal preference, I don't like a lot of arrows and I like them evenly spaced along the shaft and the last arrow not to near the tip, so to my eye that shaft looks just about perfect.

                        • Was searching for a free website to upload a video of the cue without any registration. Found this site.

Received it today. Played for a few minutes. What a stunning piece of wood that is. Almost perfect poser arrows (not that I care about them), a clean under belly. Top grade Snakewood. And Crispian sent me photos and videos at various stages of the cue's progress. All in all a top notch cue.

                          • The buggers might have dropped the cue at the airport to check it . There are hairline cracks above and below the badge. The cue's tip was also removed. I added a new tip to test it. Sent it back to Crispian, he was kind enough to agree to re-splice it free of charge. I just had to ship it. Will post the pics once it's back here.

                            • Just received it after a re-splice and a new badge as the older one was unsuable. The cue feels the same after the repair. Very satisfied with the workmanship.
