Yup... it's tulipwood... my next cue is going to be ebony butt ( no lower splices ) - with extended splices... so it has the effect of an 18" butt joint, instead of the standard 16". Not sure on a maker yet tho.

A bit of both... 2 piece, butt joint... 28mm butt ( one I have now is 26mm )
